Effective Notice
This Jurigate Billing and Refund Policy ("Policy") is a supplement to the Jurigate Terms of Service, detailing subscription billing rules, trial period rules, auto-renewal mechanisms, subscription cancellation procedures, and refund policies. Terms not defined in this Policy shall have the meanings ascribed to them in the Jurigate Terms of Service.
I. Subscription Plans and Pricing
Jurigate offers the following subscription options:
1. Free Plan: Basic features with limited quotas, no payment required;
2. Paid Plans: Monthly or yearly subscriptions, with specific prices as displayed on the purchase page;
3. Add-on Packages: Additional seats, storage, or other value-added services available for purchase as needed.
We reserve the right to adjust prices at any time. Price changes will be announced in advance on the product page or through reasonable means. Adjusted prices will take effect in the next billing cycle, and fees already paid for the current period will not be affected.
II. Free Trial Period
Trial Eligibility
New subscribers may enjoy a 7-day free trial period. Each user is limited to one trial period; the same account, payment method, or device cannot repeatedly obtain trial eligibility.
During Trial Period
During the trial period, you can access all or part of the features of your selected plan without advance payment. No charges will be incurred during the trial period.
Trial to Paid Conversion
At the end of the trial period, if you have not cancelled your subscription before the trial expires, the system will automatically begin charging according to your selected billing cycle and payment method. We will remind you at the beginning of the trial and before it expires through the product interface or email.
Cancellation During Trial
You may cancel your subscription at any time during the trial period. After cancellation, trial privileges will continue until the trial period ends, and no charges will be incurred.
III. Auto-Renewal
Renewal Mechanism
All paid subscriptions are auto-renewing. At the end of each billing cycle, the system will automatically charge the next cycle's fee using your authorized payment method, unless you cancel your subscription before the next billing cycle begins.
Renewal Reminder
We will remind you of upcoming renewals through the product interface, email, or other reasonable means before each automatic renewal. You should ensure that the contact information in your account (especially email) is up to date to receive renewal notifications in a timely manner.
Payment Failure Handling
If automatic renewal payment fails (e.g., expired card, insufficient balance, payment channel abnormality, etc.), the system will attempt to charge multiple times within a reasonable period. If payment continues to fail, we may suspend or restrict your access to paid features until payment is successful or you actively cancel your subscription.
IV. Subscription Cancellation
How to Cancel
You can cancel your subscription through the following methods:
1. Navigate to "Account Settings > Subscription Management" to cancel;
2. Contact customer support ([email protected]) for assistance with cancellation.
Cancellation takes effect immediately, but your paid privileges will continue until the end of the current billing cycle.
Effects After Cancellation
After cancelling your subscription:
1. Service privileges within the current billing cycle remain valid until the cycle ends;
2. Fees already paid for the current period are non-refundable;
3. After the cycle ends, your account will be downgraded to the Free plan;
4. Data exceeding the Free plan quotas may be subject to access restrictions. We recommend you export or process relevant data before downgrading.
V. Refund Policy
General Rule
Jurigate generally does not provide unconditional refunds. All subscription fees, once paid, are non-refundable except for the exceptional circumstances explicitly stated in this Policy.
Refundable Circumstances
The following circumstances may be eligible for refund after review and confirmation:
1. Duplicate charges: Multiple charges within the same billing cycle due to system or payment channel errors; the excess amount will be fully refunded;
2. Obvious billing error: Charges with obviously incorrect amounts due to platform technical faults; the difference will be refunded;
3. Platform technical failure: Core Jurigate features are unavailable for a reasonable period (usually more than 72 consecutive hours) due to platform-side causes; a proportional refund may be issued based on the number of unavailable days relative to the billing cycle;
4. Refund request within 48 hours of first payment, with no significant resource consumption (e.g., OCR processing over 50 pages, AI analysis over 20 times, or exports over 10 times);
5. Other circumstances required by law.
Non-Refundable Circumstances
The following circumstances generally do not constitute grounds for refund:
1. Forgot to cancel trial or renewal;
2. Requesting refund after significant use of core processing resources (e.g., OCR processing over 50 pages, AI analysis over 20 times, or exports over 10 times);
3. Subjective dissatisfaction only while service has been provided normally;
4. Usage barriers caused by your own device, network, browser, or third-party account issues;
5. Brief unavailability due to third-party service failures (e.g., payment channels, cloud service providers);
6. Service restrictions or termination due to your violation of the Terms of Service.
Refund Application Process
If you believe you qualify for a refund, please apply through the following methods:
1. Send an email to [email protected] with the subject "Refund Request";
2. Provide your account email, subscription plan, charge date, charge amount, and reason for refund;
3. If available, please include relevant screenshots or evidence.
We will respond with the review result within 5 business days of receiving your application. If approved, the refund will be returned to your payment account within 5-10 business days via the original payment method. The specific arrival time depends on the payment channel processing cycle.
Refund Amount
Refund amount calculation:
1. Duplicate charges: Full refund of the excess amount;
2. Billing error: Refund of the difference;
3. Technical failure: Proportional calculation based on unavailable days relative to the billing cycle;
4. Within 48 hours of first payment: Full refund;
5. Other circumstances: Determined on a case-by-case basis.
Refunds do not include any fees that may be charged by payment channels, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
VI. Billing Disputes
If you have questions about your bill amount, please contact us within 30 days of the charge. Failure to raise an objection within 30 days constitutes acceptance of the charge. Your service will not be interrupted during the billing dispute resolution period.
VII. Merchant of Record
Jurigate processes payment transactions through third-party Merchants of Record. The Merchant of Record is the legal purchaser and invoice issuer for your transactions. Your payment information is securely processed by the Merchant of Record and their partnered payment channels; Jurigate does not directly store your complete payment card number. The Merchant of Record may collect applicable taxes according to the laws of their jurisdiction.
VIII. Policy Changes
Jurigate may update this Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be published on the website or relevant pages and will take effect from the stated effective date. If changes materially affect your rights and obligations, we will notify you through reasonable means. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
